Hello and welcome, one and all, to The Grand Arena! I bring you all here
today to witness the daring battles of the universe's greatest
combatants in history! Here, many types of fighters, human and pony
alike, are brought from various worlds and thrown into one on one combat
for YOUR entertainment! Now i know you all didn't come here to listen
to me talk, so without further ado, i present to you our first
participants in the Grand Arena~!

    *POOF*

    A small
cloud of smoke appeared near one side of the Arena and as it faded, the
figure of a small child filled its place. The small child wore faded
green clothing and lacked shoes, She had black, unkempt hair, and wore a
hat that matched her clothing.

    "Where am i? Where is Aang
and the others? What is this all about?" The child's ears moved slightly
side to side as she spoke, Then she centered in on something across
from her. "And what the heck are you?" She pointed to a white and blue
pegasus pony that was staring at the child with a confused look. "Some kind
of horse? With... Armor?"

    "Your ah... A Human? But How?" The pony turned from the child and looked to the cheering crowd. "More than just a human, There's hundreds of them... And ponies too..."

   
Suddenly a voice came from what seemed like nowhere. "Please Welcome
the earthbending master and teacher to the Avatar, Toph!" Toph stood up
as the crowd roared in cheer. "And lets not forget about her opponent,
the captain of the Sky Archons and Prince of Equestria, Storm Wing!" The
crowd cheered even louder as the announcer finished speaking.

   
"Opponent?" Storm repeated as the announcer finished the introductions.
He turned to look at Toph once more and found her already getting ready
for the fight. "You don't really expect me to fight a human child with
no ability to defend herself, do you?"

     "I can see where this is going. I have things to do and Hero's to teach, and your
living body is the only thing standing in my way." Toph clenched her
out stretched hand into a fist and sharply rose it up by a few feet.
Just as fast as she made the motion, a stone column three times her
height rose from the rocky ground. "So if you don't mind, Lets get this
over with."

    Storm Wings face became pale. He had never seen
magic that could manipulate rock in that way. 'Are all humans this
skillful with magic?' he thought as he tried to think of how to handle
the situation. Finally he rested on an option and as he took stance for
battle, a spark bolted around his armor. "If you insist." The spark made
its way to his helmet as Storm spoke, and once it hit the tip in
between his eyes, he bolted forward into a gallop.

    Toph
punched the stone pillar, sending a disc flying towards the pegasus. As
he dodges to the left of toph, Two more come flying faster than the
last. Dodging these and the next few with ease, he made his way past the
stone pillar to his target and turned into a bucking motion. As his
hooves made contact a sharp pain filled his legs, followed by the sound
of shattering stone. He let his legs fall back to the ground and jumped
back, observing the scene.

    Toph's Stone Armor was enough to
keep her in the fight, but crumbled to debris from the pony's lightning
charged buck and the force sent her flying to her back. "Not bad... For
an animal." she stated as she got back up, "But itll take more than that
to take me down." The earthbender kicked at the ground and as if on q, a
large boulder rose and floated in front of her. "Round two?"

   
"Round 2." Storm Wing charged his Wings and started flapping them
violently. The room slowly filled with a light mist, which then formed
into a dark fog. "Heh, No matter how big your weapon, You can't hit what
you can't see." With the arena now obscuring his opponents line of
sight, Storm wing stepped from one side to the other, waiting and
looking for an opening.

    "I beg to differ" The young
earthbender struck the boulder still in front of her, shattering it into
a hail of small shards of stone. Using her earthbending, she sent one
flying to the left. The Shard punched through the fog, leaving an
opening in it for a few seconds before it sealed shut again. The armored
pony jumped back in surprise as the shard landed where he once stood.
"Even with your little magic trick, i can tell exactly where you are."
She sent another shard at the pony, but it was dodged just the same. "So
why dont you get rid of that silly fog and stop wasting your time?"

   
"You humans never cease to surprise me." Storm flapped his wings once
more, but instead of the fog disappearing, it started to swirl into a
funnel at the center of the arena. As it picked up speed, All the shards
floating in front of the bender, along with some small rocks, began to
be picked up by the vortex and even began to pull the small child
forward. Toph reacted quickly and pushed her feet into the ground,
wrapping them up tightly with her bending. Once she was stable, she
pulled 3 more columns out of the floor and started punching discs out
like before.

    The slabs crumbled as they hit the black
tornado, their debris getting sucked into the tornado. Slab after slab,
she kept sending them at the whirlwind of rock and dark fog. Soon the
vortex slowed down and then began heading back to the pegasus. "What the
hay?" Storm pushed back against Toph's bending with his magic, bringing
it back to a halt. Suddenly, rocks from the tornado started to fly
towards the white pony, breaking his concentration as he dodged them.

   
"Man, this stone tornado thing has got to be the best idea since the
creation of earthbending!" Toph said in excitement as Storm Wing dropped
his hold on the fog, to busy dodging the rocks to keep the whirlwind
going, leaving only the stones flying around in the vortex. "Ill have to
thank you for giving me this idea after i beat you." With that, she
sent the majority of the stones in the tornado at Storm all at once,
forcing him to fly into the air to dodge them.

    The rest of
the rocks left immediately fell to the floor as shock and worry flooded
into the earthbender's face. She had forgotten about his wings. Storm
took no notice of her expression, but instead started forming a
raincloud in front of him. Unable to see her opponent, Toph created a
dome of hardened stone around her just as a bolt of lightning hit. As
the bolt hit, she turned to the spot it made contact and punched a stone
out of the shield, closing up the hole behind it. The rock flew along
the same path the bolt had taken and punched through the cloud, hitting
its target. The rock made impact on Storms' wing, and within seconds he
was falling out of the sky.

    Storm Wing hit the ground with a
thud as Toph sent the stone shield back into the ground. As he stood
back up, the pegasus looked to his wing and winced as he tried to flap
it. "Just what i needed, to be grounded in a fight with someone with
control over rock and stone." he mumbled under his breath as he looked
back to Toph and got back into his stance. "But this doesn't change a
thing, i will not be beat by a child."

   "I think you just have
been." Toph said with a grin as she pointed at the sky archons hooves.
Confused, Storm followed the path of her finger with his eyes and looked
down to his hooves. To his surprise, They had been encased in stone,
and the rock was slowly moving up his legs. "All i need is one good
blow, and with you held still, itll be much easier to land it." Toph's
grin widened as she kicked the ground, raising another boulder into the
air. "It was fun, but like i said, I have things to do and your living
body is standing in my way." She punched the large rock and sent it
flying at high speed towards Storm Wing. With no means of escape, The
boulder made contact with the front left side of his body, the force
sending him backward, pulling his legs free, and his entire body flew
into the wall behind him as the uproar of the crowd reentered Toph's
hearing.

    "We have a winner!" The announcer called out as the
losing pegasus fell to the floor. "Lets hear it for Toph! Master
Earthbender!" The crowds cheering turned to chanting of the victors name
as they celebrated the spectacular show. Toph Stood tall, Having missed
the competitions back home, she took in the pride as much as she could
before vanishing in another cloud of smoke, allowing the crowds chanting
to die down. The unconscious Storm Wing soon poofed into his own cloud
of smoke as well.

    "We hope you enjoyed today's match! Come
back soon for the next battle taking place, in The Grand Arena~!" The
announcer ending the show with that, all the humans and ponies walked
down the stands and one by one took the many teleporters back to their
respective home worlds. Once all the spectators were gone from the
building, the lights kicked off, and all went quiet.
